Warm Weather, Strong Team

Today was the first sled run with the main team this season, and it was a great one! We ran 11 dogs for 35 miles, maintaining a solid 10.2 mph average speed. Clavin and Taco took the lead, and they didn’t disappoint.

Taco has recently started showing real potential in lead, especially now tha we’re off the roads and running more on the trails. It’s exciting to see him stepping up and wokring so well alongside Calvin.

The weather was unusually warm at 38°F, but the team handled it very well. Despite the heat, everyone kept a steady pace and stayed focused the whole way.

This was a great start for the main team, and I’m looking forward to seeing how they continue to grow and work together as the season progresses.
